The LED floodlight is a heavy-duty, die-cast, low-voltage light that uses an energy-efficient 1-watt LED. The LED lasts up to 50,000 hours, according to the maker, meaning no bulb replacement is required, although the LED can be replaced. The light can be placed on a long cable that runs over 100 feet without dimming. The guys at DeWalt recently sent us an advanced model of a new lighting product, the DeWalt DC020 Heavy Duty Cordless Worklight. Powered by either AC power or DeWalt 12-18v battery (including the18v NANO), this nice little shop helper will be out in September, but you don't have to wait till then to see it in action!
