Joining the Ultra-Compact drill/Driver ranks is Makita's new LCT203W Compact Driver-Drill and Impact Driver kit!
Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high quality industrial power tools and accessories, is proud to announce the release of its new 10.8V Lithium-Ion Compact Cordless Driver-Drill Kit (DF030DW) and Impact Driver Kit (TD090DW). The new compact tools combine pro power and pro speed with an ultra-compact design, and are powered by a new 10.8V Lithium-Ion battery. The two new tools are also available together in a 2-piece combo kit (LCT203W). The DF030DW and TD090DW are the latest additions to Makita’s growing line of cordless tools powered by Makita’s Lithium-Ion battery technology, delivering more power, less weight and better engineering.
There's nothing better than buying a great new power tool that you love. Except for having that same power tool that you bought come with all the extra accessories. But alas, even with the Fein Multimaster, Makita 2704 table saw, Milwaukee 6538-21 reciprocating saw and Dremel Screwdriver/Stylus Combo kit, sanding pads become worn, blades need to be sharpened, upgraded or even replaced and sometimes little accessories just get lost.
The right accessory can cut task times in half which makes the power tool accessories an essential part of getting a job done quickly and accurately. In essence, the correct accessory is as important as the tool itself.
When shopping for tool accessories such as blades, bits and sanding pads, if you are not purchasing the manufacturers brand, be sure that what you do buy will be compatible with your power tool. Most power tools and accessories these days are made overseas where they don't always have a strict set of standards from factory to factory. The end result is sometimes a cheap, knock-off brand accessory that doesn't quite fit your power tool correctly and another trip to the store for you.
So purchase power tools brands that you know and trust and the same goes for those power tool accessories.
Toolking recently launched their very own power tool line, appropriately named "Denver Tools"
after the location of their headquarters. The Denver Tools line consists of pneumatic Nailers, impact Wrenches, in-line sanders, jitterbug sanders, spray guns, 30-liter oil-less air compressor, impact Sockets, pneumatic High speed sanders, pneumatic dual-action sanders, electric angle drills, cordless grease guns, a 2-ton engine crane and more!
We are going to get the chance to try some out soon but the rundown is basically that they are an inexpensive, effective tool for light to medium duty work. The power tools are basic and no hassle, without a bunch of fancy triggers to figure out - which makes them very user-friendly.
The real HIGHLIGHT of the whole Denver Tool line is the Multipac of Pneumatic Tools, the 77-piece Air Tools Kit for $99 ! The accessories alone make this kit worth the money. So stay tuned for more detailed news and videos about the Denver Tool line by Toolking !
Our Kitchen Remodel Series returns! Jude and Her Father are at it again in Kitchen Cabinet Remodel Part 1. This time they are going to show you how take an empty kitchen space and fill it with cabinets. You don't even need much to get started. In this segment they use little more than a stud finder, a cordless driver and drill. Jude selected a very affordable Makita Lithium Ion Kit, the Makita LCT200w. The Makita LCT200w comes with the BDF452HW18V Driver-Drill, the BTD142HW18V Impact Driver and two BL1815 Lithium-Ion batteries. Jude has already written another article about this kit which you can read by clicking this link:Makita LCT200W Combo Kit.

Milwaukee Electric Tools certainly has a new attitude and we like it! They were bought out by TTI awhile back and since then have been repositioning themselves as a company that not only produces power tools but more specifically, produces "Application Solutions".
The innovative employees at Milwaukee Tools actually go out into the field with the new tool prototypes that they make on-site in their lab and see how the tools test out with the real guys who use them in the field. They let construction workers and specialty contractors test out their specialty tools and tell them what they like and don't like, and even what feature may be missing. Then the Milwaukee folks go back into the lab and make any necessary adjustments and/or upgrades and viola, you have a power tool that works like the guy on the job needs it to work. That is what sets Milwaukee Electric Tools apart from the rest of the power tool manufacturing companies.
We got the chance to visit Milwaukee recently and see the new tools that they are releasing this fall. I think you'll be as excited as the company employee's all are. Check back here on August 15th and we'll let you know all about the fantastic new tools that Milwaukee is putting out this fall.
