Move over you gas-cartridged competitors, Hitachi's bringing some gas Finish Nailers to the table...
Need to nail in a tight, remote place? Well check these out, with a combination of lithium ion battery technology and a gas fuel cell, Hitachi's new gas finish Nailers have the convenience of a cordless nailer with the power of a pneumatic nailer!
How, you wonder? The Hitachi nailers have a doubleactioned nail feed and a reciprocating piston system to drive an intermittent cycle rate of two nails per second and a 1,000 nail per hour continuous rate to rapidly compete tasks. That's how.
The Goods: The NT65GS gas finish nailer applies 16-gauge fasteners from a straight Magazine. The angled 15-gauge gas finish nailer, NT65GA, and angled 16-gauge gas finish nailer, the NT65GB, allow for easy maneuverability in tight corners and spaces.
The Hitachi nailers also provide dry fire lockout which prevents blank activation when the nail count comes to an end. This cool feature serves to alert you to replace nails, which prolongs the tool life with fewer empty drives, and minimizes possible damage to a work piece. Also included is a detachable, no-mar nose cap which protects your work surfaces and costly materials from indentations or scratches. The cap can be easily snapped onto the body of the tool for easily accessible storage.
Hitachi's 0.6-oz finish nailer fuel rods have a long life of 1,200 shots each. When a cell is spent, the nailer can instantly be reloaded by inserting a new top-loading fuel rod without waiting on a compressor to complete a cycle. When one of the 3.6V lithium ion batteries runs low, an indicator light alerts the user of the battery status to prevent unexpected downtime. In only an hour a battery can fully charge using the AC/DC charger. The Hitachi nailer battery charger also comes with a vehicle adaptor so you can charge while you drive.

Metabo just introduced a new Angle grinder, the W8-115Quick, which features their very own "Cool Flow" Technology. What the "Cool Flow" technology means is that the brushes are repositioned for unrestricted airflow and they've added a fan that pulls 35% more air through the tool to - you guessed it - keep it running cooler during operation.
The W8-115Quick angle grinder from Metabo is great for cutting and grinding heavy material such as metal or concrete. The 4-˝" angle grinder features an 8.0 amp motor with 800 watts of power, 19.5 in/lbs of torque and a no-load speed of 10,000 RPM.
Metabo's W8-115Quick angle grinder also features double lipped labyrinth sealed bearings, a unique winding protection grid and epoxy coated windings to keep the dust and crap out and also extend the motor life up to five times that of competitve models.
Weighing only 6.2 pounds, this lightweight grinder features a secure "racket" grip and dual grip zones for comfort and ergonomic handling. The W8-115Quick angle grinder has an anti-vibration side handle that absorbs up to 60% of the vibration which results in you and your employees being able to work longer without fatigue.
The angle grinder features Metabo's Quick tool-less wheel change system. This means less downtime, more worktime. And for added safety, Metabo has even thrown in a tool-less guard adjustment, spindle lock and an "S-Automatic" safety slip clutch to protect you from kickback if the wheel binds or snags. How's that for features!
You can also get more info at Metabo's website by clicking here. |
