This could be a quite remarkable "tool catch", a pneumatic nail puller! What is the NailOut? This is how they explain it on their website:
Simple...a pneumatic nail extractor. NailOut removes nails with the ease and speed of Air. It's handheld size coupled with pneumatic power makes this tool up to 10 times faster then a cats paw. This tool specializes in removing nails from wood construction connectors and other hard-to-reach places.
ExtremeHowTo.com quoted the NailOut as "Using over 4,000 blows per minute, the sharp edge of the cats paw attachment quickly digs under the nail." That''s 66 blows/second !
Surely better than a cats paw, I've provided you with the YouTube video below. ...maybe they'll send us one and we can test it out for ourselves ...
"Most often, injuries are a result of “lost presence of mind”. That title appeared in a woodworking Magazine I believe, about a brick layer who used that term as the cause of his accident in the insurance report he was filling out."
"I'm a bricklayer by trade. On the day of the accident, I was working alone on the roof of a new six story building. When I had completed my work, I discovered that I had about 500 pounds of bricks left over. Rather than carry the bricks down by wheelbarrow, I decided to lower them in a barrel by using a pulley which was attached to the side of the building at the sixth floor.
The cordless Lithium-Ion M12 Hackzall 2420-22 has stolen my heart if ever a tool could. I even rank the Hackzall up there with the Fein Multimaster which I have declared in more than one article to be my all-time favorite power tool (the multimaster doesn't fit quite as nicely in my purse - the cord is 16 feet long).
The coolest thing about the M12 cordless Hackzall is that I could rip apart a small building with it. With one hand. Because that's all it takes to hold it. The Hackzall is that powerful. And lightweight. And ergonomically designed. And with a Lithium Ion powered cordless battery, you get about 3 hours of runtime before you have to take a break. Lithium Ion batteries also have superior cold weather operation; basically that comes down to near full run-time performance down to -4 degrees Farenheit. When you work in places like Buffalo, Milwaukee, or Canada, that's important. Milwaukee's lithium ion battery system is backed with a 5-year/2000 charge warranty - the best in the business.
Do you like to tear stuff apart? Did I mention how fun the Hackzall 2420-22 is to use? But not only for destruction. If you're installing PVC piping, cutting out drywall, shaving your beard, the Hackzall is good for delicate and accurate work as well. As soon we get our Hackzall 2420-22 to review, we'll post a video demo for your inquiring minds.
The people at Bosch have become quite adept at continuing to offer a wide variety of quality power tools. With the introduction of their new 36V cordless Combo Kits, they continue to do so. The normal combo kits can often have their included items set in stone. But Bosch offers the same kit with 3 different options on the batteries included with the tools. The new Bosch CPK4036, CPK4136, and CPK4236 are all the essentially the same kit, but with the different choices in batteries, they can easily conform to the specific need(s) of any tool user.
With all this talk of foreign oil independence and clean air initiatives, an overwhelming majority of people are curious how the everyday Joe can get in on it. Coupled in with record-high (and insane) gas prices, and many people are singing the potential praises of electric forms of transportation. But now the list of electric vehicles includes something never really before seen: the Zero X electric dirt bike.
I received this email today from Delta Tools with the following image:
No, it's not an ad for the next Zelda game...
Judging by the url referred to in the email (http://www.deltaportercable.com/unisaw/), it's pretty clear Delta has some new Unisaws up their sleeve that they are going to debut at IWF in Atlanta next week. What will these new Unisaws offer over previous models? We'll have to wait and see!
On our recent trip to Milwaukee Electric Tools, they treated us to big, huge tasty muffins in the morning, barbecue and brats at lunch and then a fat dinner at a world-famous restaurant on the Lake Michigan shoreline. The food was fantastic and the hosts were not only professional but fun to hang out with. They were just good people ~ reminded me of my big old polish family back in Buffalo... Oh yea, and then there were the tools!!!
My contractor brother would've crapped his pants to get the chance to check out some of this cool stuff! Milwaukee Tools has a new training facility where they can bring folks in to demo prototypes, hold classes, train their staff and just build sh..tuff. I'm telling you, Milwaukee Tools has got a new, good thing going on.
Here's the scoop on Milwaukee's new Cordless Lithium Ion Power Tools: We got to play with:
M-18 hammer drill/Driver - On this cordless tool, Milwaukee has focused on better ergonomics and a longer run-time with the new Lithium Ion batteries, while still keeping their trademark of tremendous power and speed. They also found that the specialty contractors who use hammer drills often have problems with bit retention. So what Milwaukee Tools did for the contractors was to engineer, then test and re-engineer until they had the best bit retention design in the market.
Famous for the Sawzall, Milwaukee has upped the ante with the Lithium-Ion Cordless M-18 Sawzall 2620-22. The best feature about the 2620-22 is that it is portable. You can easily take it anywhere - on the roof, in the basement, no power, no problem. The 2620-22 is cordless and lightweight but still has the power, cut time speed and durability that Milwaukee Sawzalls are famous for. The Milwaukee engineers super-tested the M-18 sawzall by jamming the clutch, and then re-engineering the gear protecting the clutch. They did this over and over until they got it right.
I have to talk about this mighty little guy next, the M-12 Hackzall 2420-22. If I were a Sawzall, then the Hackzall would be my Mini-me. Even I could use this power tool with one hand to easily cut through PVC piping, 2x4's and more. And bonus, it fits in my purse.
We're back with part 3 of our Kitchen

ready to show you how to begin lining up the adjacent cabinets.
During this segment they are using only the Makita LCT200W drill

useful tool called a Cabinet Claw. These handy little creatures are
Clamps from the Pony line that support your cabinets, keep them
aligned and even guide your driver or drill. Doing that many jobs for
you, the Pony 8510 Cabinet Claw can be a big help and time saver
for joining your cabinets. Enjoy the video and be sure to check outJude's article on the claw here.
