The C.H. Hanson Company has done it again. They’ve reinvented the traditional rafter/layout Square not once, but twice with SlideSquare.

First they introduced Pivot SquareT, a rafter square that greatly enhanced a traditional design by adding three UV resistant vials that quickly and easily determine roof pitches and angles, indicate grade, facilitate miter cuts and allow for leveling and plumbing cuts. 

Now C.H. Hanson has completely broken the mold. Instead of working within the framework of the traditional triangle shaped tool, the new SlideSquare has been compressed into a convenient compact sized tool that measures hips and valleys, Pitch angles and has a built-in ruler and caliper.  Another super innovative patented feature is the anchor bolt locator that allows an end-user to quickly and easily mark sill plates for anchor bolt locations.
