Continuing the onslaught of news about new DeWalt products today, we found the first image we've seen of DeWalt's new DC9310 Nano-Compatible
one-hour battery charger.
Other than the yellow casing, it looks very similar to DeWalt's current charger (at right). So why would you need this one? Well, it's compatible with DeWalt's new Lithium Ion Nano batteries and your old one isn't. The 9310 will also charge almost every prior DeWalt battery, including XR and XRP batteries.
If you plan on upgrading your 18v batteries to the new Nano technology, you'll need the DC9310. If not, you don't.
DeWalt is actually releasing THREE chargers with the new Nano battery. The DC9310 is the basic single battery charger that will be included with all the new Nano kits. The DC9319 is equipped with a 12v cigarette lighter plug instead of a standard edison-style 110vac plug. The DC9320 runs on 110V and has two slots to charge two batteries simultaneously.
