DeWalt Tools, instantly recognizable by their trademark yellow and black color scheme, have established a reputation as one of the most innovative tool companies around. Known for their power and reliability, millions of tool-enthusiasts worldwide swear by DeWalt tools.

Recently, DeWalt has grown from a power tool manufacturer to a full-fledged tool solution provider. Not only do they produce great power tools, they also manufacture a range of helpful, cool, and innovative products designed to make the life of a modern tool user as productive, safe, and efficient as possible.

We’ve made a list of the top ten coolest DeWalt cordless products currently around, all based on their popular interchangeable battery system. The XRP series of batteries are powerful, long lasting, reliable, and work with many different DeWalt cordless tools.DeWalt tools, instantly recognizable by their trademark yellow and black coloring, have become one of the most popular brands of tools in the 21st century. Not only has DeWalt engineered a line of tools that look and work great, but they have innovated some of the coolest tools around.

1. DC002 – Fluorescent Work Light and Dual Battery Charger

DeWalt DC022 Florescent Worklight and Dual Battery Charger High-wattage halogen work lights are an important part of many workshops, job sites, and garages. However, their downside is that they get very hot very quickly. Halogen lights are not very energy efficient, so much of the energy they use is turned to heat instead of light. This makes them dangerous to touch and unsafe to use in many situations.

DeWalt recently released a very useful product called the DC002. It contains a 38w energy-efficient fluorescent light, a dual-port DeWalt battery charger, and three GFCI outlets for safely powering corded tools in remote locations.

Florescent lights are not just more efficient than halogen lights, but they also last a lot longer and more importantly, stay much cooler. The DC002 can simultaneously charge two 7.2-18v DeWalt batteries in less than an hour, ensuring that you and a partner always have a fully charged battery on deck.

If light is needed in a remote location without access to AC power, the florescent lights in the DC002 can run on battery power (DeWalt claims a runtime of one hour with an 18v battery!)

The GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt) ensure safe operation of corded tools. GFCI circuits automatically disconnect the flow of electrical current if an electrical fault is detected. This helps to reduce the chances of electrocution and is a great safety net that any corded power tool user should be using! You are probably already familiar with GFCI outlets, as they are installed in most bathrooms and kitchens in modern homes (they’re the ones with the “reset” and “test” buttons)
For the money, the DeWalt DC002 is a great addition to your tool collection.

2. DC515K – Cordless Wet/Dry VacuumDeWalt DC515K Cordless Wet/Dry Vacuum

Using power tools inevitably produces sawdust. Sawdust isn’t a big issue when working outdoors, but when you are working indoors, it has to be cleaned up. Prior to the DC515K, tool users would have to haul out a Shop Vac to clean up the debris left over from their jobs. The DC515K, or “Dustbuster on Steroids”, is the best solution for quick and easy clean-ups. Plus, it runs on DeWalt batteries! The DC515K has a generous ½ gallon waste container, flexible hose, and a HEPA filter to trap small particles so they don’t get thrown into the air. If you work indoors with power tools, the DC515K is a must.
