Duo-Fast Introduces 20º Round Head Paper Tape Collated Nails In Brite & Hot Dipped Galvanized |

 Duo-Fast Construction, an Illinois Tool Works Company that designs and manufactures Pneumatic and Cordless fastening tools, and a full line of nails for professional contractors and remodelers, has introduced a new line of 20º Round Head Paper Tape Collated Nails in Brite and Hot Dipped Galvanized.
“In extensive field tests, the professionals who have used these nails are very pleased with their productivity enhancing performance,” said Janet Katz, Duo-Fast Construction Product Manager. “There is no sting from flying plastic hitting you in the face. There is virtually no waste because of breakage from being dropped before loading, and there is no need to stop work and clean up the debris.”
The Duo-Fast Construction Paper Tape Collated Nails work with all major manufacturers’ 20º round head Framing nailers. The nails feature a proprietary manufacturing process and a patented tape design. They have a collation “stiffness” that resists strip collapse or corrugation. Their proprietary, high performance adhesive provides strength and rigidity that withstands hot, cold and wet weather conditions. The patented tape design also Shears easily, allowing good nail control when the tool is fired and less jamming.
Superior Special Hot Dipped
The Duo-Fast Hot Dipped Galvanized nails have a Zinc coating weight
that meets ASTM A153 Class D (1 oz. per sq. ft.) and a special polymer
head coating to offer exceptional corrosion resistance for use in
pressure treated lumber applications, including ACQ and copper azole.
These nails have 98 percent less red rust than conventional hot dipped
galvanized nails and the staining, streaking and nail discoloration
found in conventional hot dipped galvanized nails is reduced by up to
80 percent due to the polymer head coating. These nails are also ideal
for use in Cedar applications as the coating acts a moisture barrier
and helps to minimize staining.

Tape Collated Nails come in smooth and ring shank and are available in
2-3/8” to 3-1/4” lengths and .113 to .148 shank diameters.
