 SCHAUMBURG, IL (June, 2008) – Duo-Fast Construction, an Illinois Tool Works Company that designs and manufactures Pneumatic and Cordless fastening tools, and a full line of nails for professional contractors and remodelers, has introduced a powerful new Cordless 20º Round Head Framing Nailer, Model 903000.
The new Duo-Fast Construction Framing Nailer is cordless, enhancing worker productivity. No more handling hoses and compressors on the jobsite, now professional contractors and remodelers can set up and get to work quickly and easily. This cordless framing nailer is ideal for applications from joists and rafters to sheathing and decking – with a powerful motor that drives 2” to 3-1/4” length fasteners. And it works quickly – the sequential operation will drive two to three nails per second and up to 1200 nails per fuel cell and up to 4000 nails before recharging the battery.
It is surprisingly lightweight and well balanced, weighing in at just 7.6 lbs for less arm and wrist fatigue. It is also compact and fits between 16” o.c. joists, studs and roof trusses.
The Cordless 20º Round Head Framing Nailer is durable and reliable, and designed to handle jobsite use day after day. It has a heavy-duty reinforced housing that comes with a five-year warranty. Designed with many user-friendly features, this nailer has a dual-position utility hook that can be set as a belt hook or a rafter hook; a tool free depth of drive for precise control of nail depth; and a nail lock-out at five to six nails to prevent blank firing and minimize wood damage.
The Cordless 20º Round Head Framing Nailer also features the innovative Fuel + Nail Pack system. The system features packs of 1000 nails plus one fuel cell, so the user never runs out of fuel. The featured nails are 20º Round Head Paper Tape Collated in brite and hot dipped galvanized, in 2-3/8” to 3-1/4” lengths and .113 to .131 shank diameters (with approximately 30 nails per strip).
Unlike plastic collated nails, paper tape collated nails mean no sting from flying plastic hitting you in the face, no waste because of breakage from being dropped before loading, and no need to stop work and clean up the debris.
It comes with rugged carrying case and includes a 6-volt rechargeable battery, 2-hour AC battery charger, safety glasses, a 5/32" hex key, Quick Reference Guide and Cleaning Guide, Operating Manual, Tool Schematic and Parts Booklet. Fuel + Nail Packs are sold separately. Available accessories, sold separately, include an automotive adapter to charge the battery and a no-mar work-contacting element to avoid damaging surfaces.
