Hitachi Power Tools today announced two new pneumatic staplers to the market, a standard crown Stapler, the N5010A, and a wide crown stapler, the N5021A, both engineered with Hitachi's next generation industrial design.

Both staplers provide rapid firing for jobsite efficiency and are loaded with details for tool durability and convenient operation. Features include a tool-less jam release and depth of drive control, comfort grip, and an open, stainless steel plated Magazine. At under 5 lbs each, these staplers are lightweight and balanced and may be used for a variety of tasks ranging from light construction sheathing to heavy roofing applications.

The N5010A fires ½" standard crown 16-gauge staples from ¾" - 2" in length. It can be used for many fastening and installation applications including subflooring, insulation, wall and roof sheathing, and floor and roof decking. It can also be used for cabinetry installation and pallet assembly.

The N5021A uses 15/16" wide crown 16-gauge staples. It can accommodate staples from 5/8" - 2" in length and, like the N5010A, can be used in a variety of applications. Additionally, the wide crown stapler is ideal for installing wire lath under stucco, house wrap and heavy roofing materials.

With Hitachi's cylinder valve firing mechanisms, both staplers have a quick response for rapid driving - up to 13 staples per second. These tools make the best use of time on a jobsite and are designed with features for efficient and convenient operation. With the N5021A, a simple turn of a dial allows the user to easily adjust the drive depth, accommodating materials of varying density for appropriate holding power based on the application. Should a staple jam during use, both models feature a quick clear nose with a tool-less release allowing simple extraction and reducing down time.

A durable elastomer grip adds comfortable control while the lightweight and well-balanced design maximizes maneuverability and reduces user fatigue. The top-load magazine gives easy access for reloading staples and the open design allows the user to monitor staple quantity, avoiding blank drives. The plastic magazine has stainless steel plating along the top ridge for added durability and to withstand the tests of time and tough projects. With Hitachi's 5-year warranty, this stapler is guaranteed to deliver for years to come.

Hitachi's N5010A includes safety glasses and a hex bar wrench and the N5021A standard crown stapler comes with safety glasses. Both staplers have contact (bump) actuation with the option of a sequential trip mechanism.
