 Metabo just introduced a new Angle grinder, the W8-115Quick, which features their very own "Cool Flow" Technology. What the "Cool Flow" technology means is that the brushes are repositioned for unrestricted airflow and they've added a fan that pulls 35% more air through the tool to - you guessed it - keep it running cooler during operation.
The W8-115Quick angle grinder from Metabo is great for cutting and grinding heavy material such as metal or concrete. The 4-˝" angle grinder features an 8.0 amp motor with 800 watts of power, 19.5 in/lbs of torque and a no-load speed of 10,000 RPM.
Metabo's W8-115Quick angle grinder also features double lipped labyrinth sealed bearings, a unique winding protection grid and epoxy coated windings to keep the dust and crap out and also extend the motor life up to five times that of competitve models.
Weighing only 6.2 pounds, this lightweight grinder features a secure "racket" grip and dual grip zones for comfort and ergonomic handling. The W8-115Quick angle grinder has an anti-vibration side handle that absorbs up to 60% of the vibration which results in you and your employees being able to work longer without fatigue.
The angle grinder features Metabo's Quick tool-less wheel change system. This means less downtime, more worktime. And for added safety, Metabo has even thrown in a tool-less guard adjustment, spindle lock and an "S-Automatic" safety slip clutch to protect you from kickback if the wheel binds or snags.
