The 10.8V Lithium-Ion Compact Driver-Drill Kit (DF030DW) has a ¼” hex driving shank for a range of fastening and drilling tasks. The Makita-built motor delivers 200 in.lbs. of torque with two speed settings (0-350/0-1,300 RPM), variable speed and 18 clutch stages.
The 10.8V Lithium-Ion Compact Impact Driver Kit (TD090DW) has 0-3,000 impacts per minute, with a durable and long-lasting hammer/anvil design. The Makita-built variable speed motor delivers 800 in.lbs. of torque and a no load speed of 0-2,400 RPM. For comparison sake, the Bosch PS20 delivers 80 in.lbs of torque, the Bosch PS40
delivers 800 in.lbs. of torque while the Hitachi DB10DL delivers 88 in.lbs and the Milwaukee 2401-22 delivers 100 in.lbs. of torque.
The 10.8V Lithium-Ion 2-piece Combo Kit (LCT203W) includes all of the following: the 10.8V Driver-Drill, 10.8V Impact Driver, one battery charger (recharge time: 50 minutes), two 10.8V Compact Lithium-Ion batteries, a double-ended Phillips bit and a metallic hard case.
The only downside I could see to the TD090DW and the DF030DW was that there wasn't any on-board bit storage. And probably just because it's a pet peeve of mine, our kit didn't come with the double-ended Phillips bit. In fact, it didn't include a bit at all. Nada (why - oh, why - they cost pennies!!!). Small complaints though compared to the power and performance that you will get from the the Makita LCT203W.
