The American Association of Woodturners is a networking and outreaching site for Woodturners around the world. They have a Professional Outreach Program that addresses the needs of professionals within the woodturning field, including turners, writers, collectors, teachers, demonstrators, and gallery owners or managers. The goals are to improve services to the professional turner and to promote turned wood as a collectable art form.

This photo was from the latest AAW Forum contest completed in January. The theme was "Ornaments with Embellished Icicles" following along the design guidelines featured in the Winter 2006 AW Journal, on page 20, by Bill Bowers.
