Bob Babcock , a blogger over at LumberJocks, has been doing an great series of tutorials on Google Sketchup
and how woodworkers can utilize this awesome (free) tool to help them visualize their next project before cutting a single piece of stock. The tutorials are full of pictures and videos and are well-written and easy to comprehend. They go over using SketchUp techniques to produce various woodworking joints, textures and designs.
