The Convention actually began on Sunday, November 9th with registration beginning bright and early at 7:00am. There was a Technology and Consultants' Fair on Sunday morning featuring software, hardware, e-business and data capture providers. Then the afternoon was scheduled with workshops on family-owned businesses, improving your memory, branch management and roundtable discussions on business challenges. Sunday evening featured a Tailgate party with the Giants-Eagles game on the big screen and Opie Gone Bad on the big stage.
Today began early with General Session Speakers featuring the president of STAFDA, Rick Peterson, Mona Zinman, co-CEO of PrimeSource Building Products and Stuart Varney of Fox Business News. It was the Trade Show that began this afternoon however that had us really excited. We shot lots of video footage on new products that are out and/or coming to the market. All the big hitters were there from Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita and Bosch to some vendors that we had never heard of such as Level Best, Reciprotools and Stringliner. Stay tuned as we feature more detailed information from specific vendors at STAFDA!
