Get a load of this! Today, a NASA astronaut fixing the outside of the International Space Station (ISS) has dropped a tool bag, which then floated away. Yowza! It seems that the American astronaut, Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper was attempting to lubricate a broken solar panel joint when the grease gun exploded in her hands. She then attempted to wipe the grease off of her hands when the backpack-sized tool bag slipped away from her and off into space. "Oh great" she exclaimed as she helplessly watched the white bag float away from her, lost to the depths of space.

Thanks to the wonders of the internet, video of the mishap is already available for your viewing convenience:

NASA has been tracking the lost tool bag and says that it has already entered "Low Earth Orbit" and is one of the thousands of pieces of "space junk" floating around the earth. So the next time you see a shooting star in the night sky, it very well could be the reentry and vaporization of the lost tool bag.
