Bench Grinders

Now, if you need to grind something but need to be able to move it around while grinding, you need a Bench grinder. Bench grinders are a surprisingly convenient tool that you'll soon find yourself using for all sorts of tasks including sharpening tools, deburring, rust removal, shaping parts, and cleaning objects..

For a "once-in-a-while" bench grinder, the Ryobi ZRBGH827 is a great choice. With it's 3 amp motor, it's able to attain a rotational speed of up to 3600 rpm and can handle grinding wheels up to 8" in diameter. The Ryobi also features a built-in Level and a magnifier on the left wheel for precision grinding.

DeWalt DW756 Bench Grinder If you find yourself using a bench grinder a lot, it's a better idea to go with something a little more heavy-duty like the DeWalt DW756 . With a powerful 4 amp motor, the DW756 is tough enough to handle pretty much any bench-grinding task you can think of. It's larger size and heavy construction makes this grinder a workhorse.
