Hey guys, we want to bring attention to three surveillance systems from SVAT Electronics that are now available at Tool King: the CV1010DVR , the CV0204DVR and the CLEARVU1.  If you're looking for an easy way to add a layer of security to your workshop, you should definitely consider one of these SVAT surveillance systems.  Here's a quick overview of each system:

mediumsvcv1010dvr.jpg The SVAT CV1010DVR is the most affordable of the three systems, but it's still packed with great features and makes a very capable watchdog.  It comes with one color camera that is equipped with auto-on night vision, which means that this system can monitor your workshop even in the dark.  The DVR base station uses SD cards--which are cheap and widely available--to store videos and pictures; the system comes with a 512MB SD card, and the base station can accept SD cards as large as 2GBs.  Because the 1010DVR uses SD cards, it is super-easy to just pull out the card, pop it into your computer and view, backup or email all of the pictures and video that the system recorded.  Or if you want to view the recorded information directly from the 1010DVR base station, you can simply hook it up to any TV.  This system is capable of supporting two cameras.

mediumsvcv0204dvr.jpg The second system is the SVAT CV0204DVR, which comes with four cameras and uses a 160GB internal hard drive to store recorded data.  The cameras that come with this system record at a higher resolution than the camera that comes with the CV1010DVR, which means you will be able to see more detail in your recordings.  The base station allows you to look back at recorded data with great ease: all you have to do is input the time and date of  the footage that you want to see.  You can also connect this system to the internet so that you can access it and watch your workshop from anywhere in the world that you can get an internet connection.

mediumsvclearvu1.jpgFinally, the SVAT CLEARVU1.  Like the CV0204DVR, the CLEARVU1 comes with four high-resolution cameras and a 160GB hard drive to record and store video.  Unlike the other two systems, this one comes with a 7 inch LCD screen built into the base station as well as a mouse and keyboard to interact with it.  This means that you don't need to hook up a TV or computer monitor to view your footage directly from the DVR base station.  Again, this system can be hooked to the internet so that you can view and manage it from anywhere that you can access the internet.

All three systems have color cameras, auto-on night vision and motion-activated recording (which can save on storage space by recording only when the camera has detected movement instead of all the time).  The best part is that all of them are easy to set up, which makes any one of them a great option for adding security where you need it.  For more details on these SVAT surveillance systems, go check them out on ToolKing.com.

surveillance systems
written by surveillance systems , May 26, 2008
The dependability and prevalence of video surveillance cameras has increased dramatically in the past decade. Numerous home and business owners have integrated video surveillance cameras into their security systems to ensure safety, crack down on regulations, and catch criminals in the act. Video surveillance is considered covert when the cameras are hidden or aren't identifiable. Video surveillance is largely legal in the United States, as long as it doesn't directly infringe on a person's fourth amendment right to privacy.
