1. If tax refund is small or already spoken for you might wanna just go with some Adjustable Jorgensen Clamps. The Adjustable Jorgensen clamp is both a spreader and a clamper. They are stronger than the other Clamps in the market because the jaws on the Adjustable Jorgensen meet perfectly together and they have a double cam action. Ranging in sizes from 6" - 36", these are top notch clamps for any project.
2. I know I always push the Fein Multimaster but trust me, this tool will save you from buying at least FIVE other tools and help you out so much with remodeling projects. Toolking.com has the Basic reconditioned Multimaster RS on sale for $189 and the reconditioned Multimaster XL on sale for $229.
3. Bosch PS20-2 10.8V Pocket Driver with 2 Batteries for $114. The PS20-2's Litheon advanced lithium ion battery is can drive 100 3-inch screws per battery charge. Perfect little powerful pocket driver and the reconditioned PS20-2 version is only $99. The Bosch PS20-2 will push 80in-lbs of torque or for $65 more, you can upgrade to the PS40 which pushes 800 in-lbs of torque.
4. Bostitch CPACK3 compressor, 3 nailer combo kit for $199. It's still a great deal. I bought this compressor combo kit and I love it.
5. If you just need the basics for your home, you can get a great "girlfriends tool kit" that is the quality of a man's set, but specifically designed for a woman (whatever that's supposed to mean). These retail for $29 and include everything you need - in purple - for general home maintenance: 8oz claw hammer, Level, 6-in-1 screwdriver, 6" adjustable wrench, 10' tape measure, slip joint Pliers, SAE hex key set, 8pc. metric hex key set, various nails, screws and picture hangers all nicely placed in a plastic purple case.
6. Best deal on the planet on a heavy duty cordless combo kit: the DeWalt DCX6401 36v (MSRP $849.99 but ToolKing.com got a great deal on them and are selling them for $400 below retail!) comes with the DC900 1/2" Heavy Duty hammer drill, DC300 FULL SIZED 7 1/4" Circular saw, DC305 Reciprocating saw, and the DC509 Gooseneck Flashlight. Plus you get two Lithium Ion 36v batteries (with DeWalts' exclusive NANO Lithium Ion technology) and a one-hour battery charger. This is one HARDCORE cordless tool kit intended for the heaviest of cordless tool applications. It's a very popular kit due to it's mix of exceptional quality tools-the drill and two saws are probably the most versatile power tools one can own and you get them all in one shot with the DeWalt DCX6401 kit.
7. If you happen to owe money this year, you might just want to go with the Big Display Office Calculator. For $3.99, you can hopefully get it together better for next year.
8. Makita LCT200W reconditioned for $199. Save money on this powerful reconditioned impact driver and drill/driver combo kit. The 1/2-inch BDF452HW18V Driver-Drill delivers 450 in-lbs of efficient torque in a compact size and weighs only 3.5 lbs. The BTD142HW18V Impact Driver provides 1280 in-lbs of maximum torque and weighs only 2.8 lbs. 9. What Dan wants at the Toolking Superstore: Makita LS1214FL 12 inch Dual Slide Compound Miter Saw with Laser and Fluorescent Light, 3200 RPM, 15.0 Amps for $629. Dan claims that this Miter saw will be able to do anything from stairs to crown molding and more.
10. Dremel 1130-01 7.2V Screwdriver/Stylus Combo Kit for $129. It's that cool little tool that you don't really need but you've always wanted for fine detail crafts and projects. Now you can just buy it with those tax return dollars.
