560 in-lbs of torque in a small package? A Lithium-Ion battery that produces 280% more work in the lifetime of the drill? The Makita BDF451
promises this and more.
The stylish 18volt BDF451 is one of the many fine drills from Makita, and has many additional specs that make it stand out from other competitors:
- A low weight of 4.6 lbs and length of 9-3/8".
- A 5x lower self-discharge (for use any time) and 16 firm holding contact terminals (for constant high power).
- A great ergonomic shape with removable side handle.
- The charger uses “Active 3 Control" for current control, thermal control & voltage control.
ToolKing.com
has a deal on the kit, which includes the following:
- 2 LXT Lithium-Ion 3.0 Ah batteries (194205-3)
- 45-minute optimum charger (DC18SC)
- screwdriver bits (784637-8)
- Carrying case (824754-3)
Reviews of this drill have been excellent so far. One user comments that "I would have to say the best cordless drill I ever own."
