Are you looking for a new Brad Nailer or just want to upgrade your old one? Well, here's one worth checking out, the Max NF255-ST/18.
Why should you check out the Max Brad Nailer?
Basically when your shopping for a nailer, you look for a nail gun that is well-balanced, feels good in your hand (depending on your hand size), drives nails to a consistent depth, is easy to handle in all kinds of positions, is easy to load, and has simple, quick adjustments that won't stop your flow of work. The Max NF255-ST/18 is a 1" to 2" 16-gauge Brad Nailer that weighs only 3.6 lbs. It has easy-to-use side loading, an adjustable exhaust port and a swivel hose attachment.
But don't just take my word for it! Here's what some other folks have to say.

ToolsOfTheTradeOnline.net
tested out the major brands Brad nailers and had this to say about the
Max NF255-ST/18, "the Max gun is second with a very nicely engineered
tool and great overall package. Its two-stage pin-loading system keeps
pins secure during re-loads, which is very handy. The tool is
lightweight, and it's great swivel hose attachment makes managing the
hose easy."
The guys over at ContractorTalk.com has this to say about MAX Nailers:
- You can never go wrong with Max guns. I have their framer and its a dream.
-
MAX nailers are great, but pricey. Depends on what you need a nail gun
to do. If you want to look flashy, and professional and have nailers
that can take a beating and still pop nails out go with the MAX. If you
need something your guys are going to use, beat up, leave at a job site
buy a Ridgid. If it is to be your gun only...go with the MAX!
- I need something with great durability and tremendous sinking power.
My applications may vary from sg crown/ columns and then standard paint
grade. My Senco brad nailer just couldn't pull thru. Hitachi died 6
months in. I have the Ridgid, ( but for my newest subcontractor... i
won't lose sleep if he trashes it)... My friends use Max nailers for
Framing and they swear by em....
- I prefer the Max Framers over all others. I can't stand Bostitch,
I've seen many that couldn't handle a cold N.E. jobsite and I find them
to be really uncomfortable to run all day. I've heard great things from
guys about the Max finish/pin nailers and wouldn't expect anything but
the best from them. As to the whole Ridgid thing, I've never been a fan
but I've only had a limited experience with them.
Yes, Max nailers are typically higher priced than your average
nailer but if you are buying a nail gun for it's quality and
durability, the MAX NF255ST18 Brad Nailer is worth every penny.
