In this month's May 2008 issue of Popular Mechanics, the Milwaukee 15amp Super Sawzall took top rankings when they outcut the competition. The first test was how fast and easy could the Reciprocating saw cut through two pieces of wood and nails. The second test demonstrated how easily the sawzall ate through a "house sandwich" consisting of 1/2in. drywall, 2x6 lumber, 1x4 pvc pipe, steel conduit, two 12-gauge cables, and 2-pieces of steel strapping. Yummy!
In both tests, Milwaukee outperformed the rest and left "a remarkably smooth and straight cut" while "impressing the testers with the almost-pristine blade that emerged from the fray".Basically after 57 years, Milwaukee is still the toughest and fastest when it comes to reciprocating saws.
