 I love the Makita LCT200W combo kit. My dad especially loves the Driver-drill BDF452HW that comes with the kit. My dad is 74 years old with over 50 years of contracting experience and he says that the Makita Driver/Drill BDF452HW that comes with this kit is the lightest, most well balanced cordless power drill/driver that he has ever used. I had to buy him one or he would've taken mine! (I bought him the reconditioned LCT200W combo kit at Toolking.com for $199)
Basically, the Makita LCT200W is a Compact Lithium-Ion 18V 2-Piece Combo Kit. It includes a 1/2 inch Driver/Drill that delivers 450 in-lbs of efficient torque in a compact size and weighs only 3.5 lbs. The drill/driver also features a trigger-activated variable speed motor and a built-in LED light. It was the perfect for installing our kitchen cabinets last week and my dad loved how this tool felt in his hand.
Besides the 1/2 inch Driver-Drill BDF452HW, the LCT200W also includes 2 - 1.5 amp Lithium Ion batteries and a 15-minute Rapid Charger DC18RA AND an Impact Driver BTD142HW. The Makita Impact Driver has a powerful 4-pole motor with dual ball bearings and delivers a whopping 1280 inch pounds of torque while weighing only 2.8 pounds. It's perfect for building a deck or other jobs that require a high torque driver. It is just as well-balanced as it's drill/driver counterpart and also features a built-in LED light for better visibility while driving screws and stuff.
