bosch4000_09.jpgA friend gave me an old Craftsman Radial Arm Saw that just scares the crap out of me. I think it's cause when I was a kid, we had one in our basement and my dad used to tell me "Don't play with that one Judy, it's very dangerous and can hurt you". This radial arm saw is like a looming, blood-sucking monster huddled on the floor in the corner of my garage just waiting to be plugged in to do it's nasty duty. I know that's really strange but I've found that there are much better options for ripping and shredding.

My friend Chip, who's a custom cabinet maker, told me to get a nice 15-amp table saw. "Get one", he said, "that has a gravity-rise wheeled stand because those are the easiest to move and store." So - - I asked the guys at the Toolking store what they recommended and Patrick told me, hands down the Bosch 4000-09.

The Bosch 4000-09 is 10 inch worksite table saw with, you guessed it, a gravity-rise wheeled stand. It has a 15-amp motor that drives the 10" blade at speeds up to 3650 rpm. Special to the Bosch 4000-09, is that the torque demand is monitored by a response circuitry so if the power falls short, additional power is delivered to maintain a constant speed under load.

The Bosch 4000-09 worksite table saw has a soft start motor that enables a quieter start and thus a quieter work environment. It comes with a miter gauge that fits the saw easily, and an Arbor Lock which facilitates single wrench blade changes. The Bosch table saw has a Fence that can be expanded up to twenty inches. This precision rip fence has a patented technology that ensures accurate cuts.

The Bosch 4000-09 Worksite Table Saw has the largest table top in its class - 29 inch x 21-1/2 inch and is capable of handling large stock. The permanently attached folding gravity-rise stand can be automatically expanded and locked to set it at the height that you want to work. The stand is sturdy and well-built, and comes with 8 treaded pnuematic wheels so one person can easily move it around the jobsite.

You can get the Bosch 4000-09 at Toolking for $499!

I have one of the Bosch saws that I bought from you to remodel my 1760 colonial house and I have never had a better saw. All of the blade and table adjustnments were dead on out of the box and I started using it about 10 minutes after I unpacked it. It is without a doubt a handy, very portable, and powerful saw. I use it to rip everything from 5/4 stock to 3/4 pine to make thin shims. I've never had a problem with it in the year and a half I've had it and would buy another if anything ever happened to this. it's a great saw.
