Saturday evening at 8pm, all types of people speaking all types of languages, all over the world will join in World Wildlife Fund's Earth Hour.

What is it? Well, at 8pm local time on Saturday nite, participants will shut off their lights for one hour. What will you do? I don't know about you but I've got something romantic in mind. No partner? No worries, you can always spend the time changing out all those old lightbulbs to energy efficient compact flourescents. I've had one in my outdoor front light now that hasn't burned out in three years!

Dick Cain from Lumberjocks.com is at it again, this time making a good tool better. He modified the light on his Rikon 14" Bandsaw so that it wouldn't sag and loosen up on him. He basically fastened an outlet box to the saw frame to give better illumination to the workspace and to eliminate the loosening threads and sagging light.

Spring is definitely in the air! There have been some fat robins building nests in the yard and the cattle in fields near my house have nearly doubled in numbers with a bunch of cute little ones playing about. The Little Wonder 3010-00-01 is a 30" 120V Single Sided Electric Hedge Trimmer. With stamped thru-hardened high carbon tool steel blades, the Little Wonder 3010 will maintain a sharp edge for longer periods of time, meaning less downtime for maintenance.
