EXTENDED Until December 15th: Win a Dremel Multi-Max from Toologics!
Written by Zach Peil
Monday, 01 December 2008

Hey everyone, we've decided to extend this Dremel Multi-Max contest for another two weeks, so the cut-off date for entries is now December 15th.  If you haven't entered yet, here's your chance!

Our M-Spector contest was a rousing success, so why stop there?  Today marks the beginning of a brand new Toologics contest: Win a Dremel Multi-Max!  This tool has been quite the hot commodity lately, and you may remember that Brian and Eric covered it with a video overview and even carved some pumpkins with it!  In fact, the very Multi-Max we're giving away is the one you see in those videos, so while it's not technically brand-new, it has only been used a couple times for some hands-on here at Toologics.  Rest assured that it is still in excellent condition!  If you're interested in entering the contest, click Read More for the entry form and official contest rules.

Ask Rick: Help Me Fix My DeWalt 735 Planer!
Written by Rick Peil
Tuesday, 25 November 2008
Rick, I own the Dewalt 735 planer and am having difficulties with the rollers/infeed. My boards need to be pushed in and come out burned (roller marks). When I open it up to plane the side of a 2x6 they feed just fine but to do a 3/4" face it is a no go. I've cleaned the machine totally put new blades on and no difference. I appreciate any advice you might have. Happy Thanksgiving ~ Sean Hoogen

Sean,

Thanks for the inquiry. I have a few thoughts to share.

Firstly, I have seen slightly dull blades new from the package, however, it doesn’t totally explain the feed on the 2 X 6 and not the 1 X. Unless of course it is a weight issue or depth of cut.
