DEWALT Recalls Cordless Brad Nailers Due to Injury Hazard

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with DeWalt Tools, today announced a voluntary recall of the DeWalt DC608K cordless brad nailer. The nailer can operate when the lock-off (safety) is in the locked
position. Also, the nailer can operate when the trigger is not pulled
and the contact trip is depressed. The unexpected ejection of a nail can
pose a serious injury hazard to consumers. Although DeWALT has received two reports of nailers operating when the
lock-off (safety) was in the locked position, fortunately no injuries have been
reported.
