Irwin 10WR Vise-Grip Locking Pliers
Monday, 08 February 2010 18:01
I wanted to highlight a tool that is so basic that it is often times overlooked. Over the weekend I noticed I had misplaced my pliers and had forgotten to replace them before starting this job. A buddy of mine had a pair of the Irwin 10WR Pliers and for the most part pliers are all the same but I was very impressed with these pliers. The Irwin 10WR measures 10 and has a jaw adjustment range up to 1-7/8, locks instantly, releases quickly and adjusts to pliers action. The Irwin Locking Pliers features curved jaws, knurled tips and wire cutters are able to cut a 1/4 bolt. The involute jaw curve permits user to put tremendous pressure on four points of any style nut or bolt head.
Before my next project I am not only going to make a checklist of all the tools I need to avoid this problem but I am also going to head on over to Toolking.com to pick up a pair of the Irwin locking pliers.
